Within approximately two weeks of announcing the blind city, citizens are now 39

When you visit Blind City at yahoo groups dot com you will notice an increasing number of visitors and subscribers to the group which represents the virtual world of those who are visually impaired or blind. Actually, we expect a bright future for this city and its citizens, especially when we got to know that members are allowed to share in posting to this press as well.

For those citizens who have the talent to compose articles, poems, narrative stories or any fiction/science, or success stories, and willing to share their composition over the pages of our press, just send us a note at: blindICT@gmail.com

In a company of his trainees, mr. Wael Zakareya launches the blind city press

In one of the major events, since the independence of the blind city, mr. Wael Zakareya, the blind city governor, is pleased to launch the official press of the city while he was teaching some blogging concepts online. In a question about his expectation to the mission assigned to this press, he said, "I imagine this press will not only serve as an official press for our new blind city, but also will help us publish any objective articles, or literary posts contributed by the blind citizens. He adds, "no matter their languages are, we are keen to overcome any language bariers, so that we represent the blind all over the world." We asked mr. Wael Zakareya about the local languages' blogs, he said, "now, our main goal is to create some sort of unity, and enable the English language speakers control the situation and later on, we'll surely launch new presses with more local languages for the non-English speaking communities in our city." Lastly, we would like to thank mr. Zakareya for his efforts in maintaining all blind city related activities.
